IntelliSwitch

IntelliSwitch is a project designed and built in ED3X to manage the Stacks and Antennas from a web browser or remotely to avoid using additional buttons and cables in the shack.
Fully configurable Wifi Antenna Switch control, to manage up to 8 relays (5v-40v DC) with 5 modes of operation:
-
- Single Switch
- Multi-Switch
- StackMatch Controller (SJ2W and 4O3A logic)
- Matrix Switch
- Flip/Flop switch
- Current Versión of FirmWare: v30.25
You can manage the relays from your browser or your node-red dashboard.

Board
The board has pre-installed all the other SMD components, LEDs, and Resistors.
Bill of Materials
We have designed IntelliSwitch with a minimum of components, just 4, and easy to find, to facilitate the construction and maintenance. (The Links below are just for explanatory purposes, non-commercial).
- ESP32: ESP Wroom 32 with 39 pins (with CP210x USB controller) (Be aware there are several types of ESP32). Link.
- DC/DC converter: The board is designed to host two types of commercial DC/DC buck converters:
- Drive control: Power Driver UDN2981A. Link.
- Capacitor: A value between 1uF to 10uF 50v.
Additional but non-critical:
- ESP32 socket: Use a Female PIN Strip Header
- UDN2981 socket (18 pins)
- Connection headers for power and relay control.
How it works
- IntelliSwitch can be managed from your browser, cell phone, or tablet, also we’ve developed the code to manage it through Node-Red Dashboard.
- IntelliSwitch will connect to your WiFi network once it has been configured. Open your browser type the IntelliSwitch IP, configure the device as MultiSwitch, Switch, or StackMatch controller, and configure the name of the Switch and Antennas and that’s all.
Firmware
- Current version of FirmWare: v30.25 (jun-24).
- The latest version of FirmWare can be downloaded from here.
- Versión v30.25:
- Added Matrix Switch control (5 switch modes)
- Fixed some minor programming bugs.
